YUSUPOV PALACE

Five generations of the Yusupov family chose this palace to be the family nest in ST-Petersburg between 1830 and 1917. After the Bolshevik Revolution in October 1917 among many others they had to flee from Russia to save their lives leaving most of the family wealth behind.

The walls of the Palace witnessed the never-ending string of the most lavish balls and parties as well as one of the most intriguing conspiracies of the world history that is the murder of Grigory Rasputin.
