ST-Petersburg of Peter I
One cannot escape mentioning the name of Peter I 101 times while showing around ST- Petersburg.
It would be unfair to our city’s creator not to have a tour into his honor.
Music of ST-Petersburg
“Music of ST-Petersburg” is a city highlight tour with a special stress on past and present musical life of the Russian cultural capital, musical venues, and monuments to the prominent Russian Composers, most of who used to live and work here. Just to name a few: Michael Glinka, the unchallenged founder of Russian classical music, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Anton Rubinstein, the talented composer and pianist who initiated the first Russian conservatoire in 1862; one of the first graduates of this conservatoire was Peter Tchaikovsky.
TSARSKOE SELO (PUSHKIN) and PAVLOVSK TOUR

PETERHOFF PALACE AND PARK
Peterhoff is often referred to as Russian Versailles. The oldest of the Imperial residences; today it is a park complex which includes the principle palace and a number of minor pavilions and also the world unique place where you can find the most splendid fountains. It is located about 30 miles from the city centre, on the south shore of the Gulf of Finland. The best way to get there (if you happen to visit ST-Petersburg between May and October) is by sea.
COTTAGE, PETERHOFF
The Cottage Palace was built in the Park of Alexandria , adjoining the Lower Park of Peterhoff in 1829.
The house is built in the popular at that time Gothic style by the English architect Adam Menelaws.
HERMITAGE MUSEUM
The State Hermitage Museum ranks with the Louvre, the British Museum and Metropolitan Museum of Art as one of the world’s most important and richest art galleries.
RUSSIAN MUSEUM
The Russian Museum is the first state museum of the Russian fine art in the country, founded in 1898 in the former Palace of Grand Duke Michael .

YUSUPOV PALACE
The walls of the Palace witnessed the never-ending string of the most lavish balls and parties as well as one of the most intriguing conspiracies of the world history that is the murder of Grigory Rasputin.
GATCHINA
Gatchina is on the itinerary list of the very few foreign visitors of ST-Petersburg. Located a bit further than the other former imperial residences, the large scale restoration process has started here almost 40 years later than at Peterhoff, Tsarskoe Selo and Pavlovsk. Nevertheless, the history and beauty of the place can rival the other more favorable Russian residences.
VELIKY NOVGOROD
For those who had time to complete most of «must see» sight-seeing of ST-Petersburg, country travelling might be an exciting option to see some other parts of Russia.
Novgorod is one of the most ancient Russian towns in the North-West. It is located in between Moscow and ST-Petersburg and dates back to the IXth century.
